yes the dark green grass clumps are silfor ...Geoff,
yes the dark green grass clumps are silfor products. very expensive but very nice. I have also used some of their other products including some which may be visible in a previous post on Bodalla. It is a very low grass and looks like weed patches.
I got the grass from Orient Models in Adelaide. It is also know as Mininatur and the December AMRM shows it available at a few more hobby shops.
BobSouth Coast Railhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06743351585350477874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758336167428675765.post-14534234154957971262009-11-30T13:38:30.044+11:002009-11-30T13:38:30.044+11:00More good 'lensmanship' Bob.More good 'lensmanship' Bob.Gary Lakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11827189280938138636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758336167428675765.post-52422069418951839292009-11-29T22:17:08.998+11:002009-11-29T22:17:08.998+11:00You know Bob it's the little details about rai...You know Bob it's the little details about railways that make the hobby itself so much more interesting and enjoyable. The plates that you've told us about are one of things that many of us wouldn't know about, and as time moves forward so quickly our contact with those who have first hand knowledge is disappearing at an ever increasing rate.

OK, there is another point to this comment the second last photo has a ground grass in a green colour on the RHS foreground. Could you tell me what it is. I did think it was one of those silfour products, maybe a buffalo grass? Great photos, the backscenes add so much depth, Geoff.Geoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10013926958043232197noreply@blogger.com
